About TEDxDavenport

We Love the Quad Cities. TEDxDavenport is devoted to telling the grand Davenport story via the TED “Ideas Worth Spreading” platform. We currently host one event per year, pulling together local and national ideators with global impact. These innovators creatively collaborate with our team for a truly immersive, engaging, inspiring and entertaining event. Whether you're joining us for an in-person event or simply viewing past talks online, you’ll find TEDxDavenport to be an incubator of phenomenal ideas that sparks worldwide conversation.

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. Based on the parent model, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxDavenport, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxDavenport events, live TEDx speakers encourage deep discussion and connections within our diverse community of attendees. While the TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

TEDxDavenport is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt, non-profit, EIN 83-0956922.
